My favorite out of all my pumps
I personally love how strong this is but I realize everyone is built differently. I have willow go, spectra s1, and modela harmony hand pump but so far I am loving the baby Buddha the best due to the suction strength because it gets that last little bit out to fully empty me in 10min! However, I’m not in my first week of pumping so I can see how it would have hurt quite a bit had this been my first pump. This is definitely a down the road pump on the breastfeeding journey (I’d say after maybe the first month).Willow go is nice for portability but it doesn’t do the job well and actually has caused me to have painful clogged ducts 3 times now, is annoying to clean and none of the parts can be sterilized, pouring the milk from it is difficult, and it is heavy and bulky so it falls down in my bra often. Also it is hard to see if you have it positioned exactly right on the nipple. If you don’t, no milk will flow and you waste a lot of time. The wearables like the willow go are made for use once your supply is established about 3 months postpartum because their suction is not as strong. This can hurt your supply if you use it in the beginning months postpartum. The spectra works better to empty than the willow go and has a stronger pull to help empty more out but it takes twice as long as the baby Buddha and just isn’t strong enough for me anymore. I have gained about 20% more so far with the baby Buddha. I also like the different type of suction pattern that the baby Buddha has where it does 10 short tugs and one long one for the stimulation mode. The downside is that you cannot adjust the cycle and vacuum independently like you can on the spectra. The most annoying part about the baby Buddha for me is that you can only order the original spare parts directly from their website (not on Amazon). They take 7 days to arrive and cost over $50 if you buy the flanges, bottles, and covers. [Update: they are selling some on Amazon now that I see!] I’m also having some issues with the rolling ball button on the pump as sometimes it’s difficult to get it to scroll to high levels quickly enough (especially at 3am) but I do like that there are only two buttons on the instrument for simplicity. This is still my main go to pump though by far due to its portability and strength.UPDATE: my supply had tanked last month so badly that I was down to only getting about half an ounce every two hours due to using the willow go too early postpartum and not pumping enough at night which was why I looked for a new pump and now am up to 2.5oz every 2hrs and it is increasing every day! I think it is because this pump is emptying me each time, signaling to my body to make more. This pump saved my supply!

Worth every penny!
This is my everyday pump. I can’t say enough great things about it. I was using a spectra S1 when I got home from hospital. Until our pediatrician told me about this brand. I instantly brought it. Worth every penny. Now just debating on buying the wearable option.

Don’t expect customer service to help
This pump has been amazing. I felt way more empty after a pump and I would get MORE in less time than my wall pump. The strong suction does take some getting used to. After a few weeks though you will completely adjust. However make sure you have the correct flange size. Before I had my lactation consultant measure me, I had too large flanges and let me say, I thought I was going to lose that part of my chest. I certainly am not up to the 45oz that you see on all the ads, but there was a great amount more.I bought the pump towards the end of March. In August I noticed there was a lot less pull that I could feel. I figured I was just used to it. Then I saw a large dip in my supply. I started watching and usually after 5 minutes, milk would stop coming out even though I only would have pump enough to cover the bottom of the cup. However when I hand expressed along with the pump, I would hit my normal 3-4 Oz each side. We thought it may have been the parts so I ordered all new everything besides the pump directly from the website. Was still having the same issue. I was remembered and placement was checked and it was all good. My consultant said the last thing there would be is the pumps suction is failing.Well since I am under a 1 year limited warranty, I read through all of the warranty language and saw they cover mechanical issues.Fun fact- they will find ANY reason not to give you a new pump. They want a video of the suction of the pump for their “video analyst”. Although you could clearly see my finger was barley getting pulled in, they decided the pump was working perfectly. Then they referred me to their lactation specialist even though I stated I already have one and I am very well aware how to operate my pump. They stated I HAD to use theirs. I talk with her and explain what was happening and she still said that isn’t problem with the motor then wanted to pump on a video call. I tried to explain myself once again and said I was absolutely not video chatting with some one I have never met or heard of. Still kept saying it wasn’t a motor issue.Thankfully I purchased a protection plan. I contacted assurion and within literally TWO minutes they happily issued me a refund once they heard everything. My advise, absolutely purchased the service plan as customer service will find any reason to not abide by their warranty. So as much as I loved the pump, this is a 1 star for a complete train wreck with customer service

This is a great pump! I have used it for months now and when I did have issues with it, BB support walked me through how to fix the issue. Would buy again!

Oh my goodness, this pump is something else. I’m a low supply mum, mostly exclusively pumping and if you are on the fence about getting this pump, just take the plunge. I didn’t get on with the flanges supplied, but I’ve successfully hacked it with my Phanpy cups, my spectra set up, and my Stride cups, with amazing results. My supply is better than ever and it’s all down to this amazing little beast! My only gripe is that there are only two modes of suction, but like I say, my supply is better than ever! She is worth every penny and more! ❤️❤️❤️ I took this pump away with me at the weekend and the battery life was amazing. As someone who doesn’t usually respond well to hands free pumps, I’m so thankful I found this pump!

Every single time I’ve used this pump it hasn’t emptied me at all, I’ve even spent 30 minutes on it and still doesn’t empty them. What’s the point if it doesn’t help?
