These are equivalent to reusable diapers to me. Will it save you some money and help the environment? Yes. Will you be washing gross stuff off of it and waiting for them to dry before you can use them again? Also yes. You will probably need to invest in more than three if you need to constantly change them out especially if you are sore or have tears postpartum.I used these as back up over my disposable cold pack pads from my postpartum kit ran out. I find them to be incredibly cold even with the cute pink sleeves at first application. Of course things warm up quickly down there so i just toughed it out. They are also a bit uncomfortable when completely frozen.Either way they get the job done and worked to relieve the soreness i experienced down there ( no tears or stitches)Although the sleeves were incredibly cute I would have opted for a material that was a bit easier to clean. Keep in mind you’ll have some clotting here and there and just an up and down in blood flow.

Does not sit securely in sleeve.
I ordered this set for postpartum warm compresses and I was really expecting this to be able to be used as stated. Unfortunately the included sleeves are in no way made to hold one of these hot/cold packs securely. It is far too small! The pack hangs out a good inch from one end and said end shouldn’t be open at all. I can’t say whether it stays cold or not for my intended use since I’ll only be using it warm.

I ordered this as a gift for a pregnant friend. What a great kit to have ready and waiting for her first few days back home! The kit is well thought out with 3 washable covers for the cold packs. Both cold oaks and covers can be kept clean and ready to use in rotation. And it has wings to secure it in underwear. Highly recommended!

Very useful
When I order it I had the intention of giving this as a gift but the little one got to it so it actually became a toy/pain relief tool. It freezes well in the freezer/remain coldness in refrigerator so it can function as a cold pack. I also tested it in the microwave and it does get warm so it can also function as a heat pack. The little one likes to push the little beads around for entertainment. Overall very useful.

THE BEST POSTPARTUM ICE PACKSI seriously loved and lived in these ice packs. What was nice was after the one was not cold anymore I could grab a replacement without having the issue of waiting. They lasted long and I still use them for clogged ducts and many other things. But these were seriously perfect. (A good babyshower gift aswell)

These are amazing. They stay colder a lot longer than padsicles and are a lot less messy. They also give more coverage which helps with relief. I love that they are reusable too. Definitely recommend these for post partum recovery.

These arrived fairly quickly and in good condition. They look exactly like the pictures and are very straight forward to use. I’ve only used it as an ice pack so I can only comment on that. The ice pack stays cold for a little over 40 minutes which is surprising compared to other jelly packs I’ve used lately that don’t last nearly as long. Since they’re thin, they’re easy to sit on and maneuver; it fits perfectly over your below parts when you sit on it. I use it to sooth after my laser treatments and I do find it helps take some of the sting away. I like that it comes with 3 so you can always have them on rotation if you really need soothing.The covers are made of a stretchy cotton. The pads can easily slide into them but they honestly feel cheap and unnecessary in its design. It’s made to help the ice pack act like a pad but I’m not crazy about sticking it directly in my underwear. Even for post-partum ladies, there’s a lot going on down there that needs to be caught by an actual pad so you likely wouldn’t use it that way either. It makes a nice cover so it’s not overly frosty and making your clothes wet, but you still already have some clothing barriers so I find it unnecessary.At it’s current price ($21.99 CAD), I find it’s fair for what you get, and it’s performance and quality.
