Great first ride
Our 2.5 year old has had this bike for quite a few months. In the last month she has really figured out how to cruise with the bike. She loves this toy.

Safe and fun
This balance bike was simple and quick to assemble with very few parts. The adjustable seat is soft and wide to give a good sitting area. The handlebars can be positioned which is a great feature. There are no sharp edges or pedals to bang into little shins. The wheels are wide plastic with no openings so no spokes to get hurt on either. It’s a safe and fun way to practice riding.

pretty easy to put together. A little tall
I just got this for my 2 1/2 year old. Last year I got him the one with 4 wheels and he was loving it–just starting to coast, so I was a little concerned he might be upset by this one. We presented it as a Christmas present and he is just a little short for it. He has to use tippy toes to ride on it. We made the other one disappear and he hasn’t complained yet. He carries this around and tries to use it and doesn’t seem to frustrated, even though he’s not really balancing yet. I’m just encouraged that he’s trying. It wasn’t totally clear where the height should be. There is a line, on the seat post, but I don’t know if that’s supposed to be at the top or bottom, so I may try lowering this just a little. I did have some trouble getting the seat clamp over the outer post of the seat and even checked some of the review photos to try to clarify because the instructions are really basic. It does need to go over. It looked like it was the same size on the top and bottom, but when I flipped it, it went over more easily. Overall, it was pretty simple to put together and I did it myself in about 15 minutes, including my frustration on the clamp. Seems sturdy enough, especially considering it’s already been banged around quite a bit since it falls every time he stops using it and many times while he’s using it.
To small , they sent the same size, I need x – lg –
