I really like these motion lights. I use several in the house so you can see where you are going at night, particularly for a nightly trip to the bathroom when you are half awake. These light up well project a good amount of light. This brand is a reputable brand and their products are solid. I have had no problems at all with my other motion lights made by this company. It detects motion readily and lights up right away. Each unit takes 4 AAA batteries so you need to have a good stash of this size battery on hand, particularly if you used a lot of these motion lights. I highly recommend these motion lights. They are as good as any you will find. A great value for the money.

Great Little Lights
Love these lights. I installed them on the wall beside a dark stairway in our camping trailer. They are working perfectly. These stairs scared me at night but now they are well lit whenever I need them to be. I would highly recommend these lights for numerous uses. I might even purchase more for inside my cabinets. Well worth the money. Since purchasing these lights one of them has stopped working. I’ve changed the batteries and that hasn’t helped. The only way that one will work is to put my hand over the sensor. A little disappointing

Excellent unobtrusive motion night light
These motion night lights are fantastic. They are very slim and unobtrusive, work flawlessly, and the batteries last a long time. I bought my first ones five years ago and keep buying more. I have installed them on the undersides of my pantry closet shelves to light the contents, and under the wall-mounted vanities in our bathrooms. In the bathrooms they don’t shine in your face but do provide subtle lighting at night, which is great for kids or guests. I used Command strips for most of these and that method works well when you don’t want screw holes. Highly recommend Mr. Beams products!

Great for stairs!
I bought these to light up my stairs going up to the second floor and they work great. Just throw some batteries in, remove the little tag on the sticky part, and attach. It’s that easy. When the batteries start to go dead, it’s also very easy to replace them. I would say that I have to replace the batteries about every 3 – 4 months. I would definitely recommend them!

Do not buy
Total junk. These do not work. Thought my batteries were maybe old so ordered new ones. Lights still do not come on unless you take the batteries and spin them around. They will come on but will not activate with motion.

Used these for several years, very nice product.
Have used these lamps for last 9 years, very nice product. Setup along stairwells to upper floor and basement. Motion sensing is just right when moving up and down stairs, like that they are light sensitive so they don’t turn on in the day. I use AAA rechargeable batteries and have to swap about monthly with a family of five moving up and down the stairs. My only issue is the battery compartment seems a bit loose, so I have to “adjust” the batteries slightly to make good contact, with that said, this could be a battery issue as well. Have a few other Mr Beams products, they make good stuff!

Soft illumination with long battery life and a up/out facing Motion sensor!
The Beams battery activated night lights are great with very long battery light and just enough light to illuminate the stairs or a cabinet without having to turn on a big bright room light and wake everyone up.We have been using a different variety of this light, the Beams MB720, for years all over our house and have been VERY satisfied with all of them. The locations are as varied as you can imagine with several in cabinets, one in our walk-in closet and even one mounted above the toilet. Again, in all of those situations the Beams MB720 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FCGI8Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 has been fantastic.So, why then did I replace the one I had on our staircase with this newer model, the MB710?Simple, we have two Australian Shepherds and the MB710 can be mounted so that it doesn’t activate when the dogs walk by at night but still does activate when any humans do (so we can see the dog toys on the stairs and not break a leg).

This is a fantastic device. I would have given it a 5-star if all work as planned. One of the three is defective. This is disappointing because this is my second order. For the first order, one of the units was defective too. I returned and reordered. Now, this is happening again. I wanted to return the defective unit and ask for a replacement unit, but I’m not sure if I can return just 1 unit. There is no way to contact the seller. Good product but bad quality control.
