I always go for the outlet covers that just plug in to block kids from getting their fingers in them. My 3rd child, which is 11 months, quickly realized he wasn’t able to mess with those outlets but instead went for the outlets that he can just pull the plugs out of the wall completely. Most of my outlets like that are blocked but due to Christmas we had to rearranged which left one outlet that is in use open and I had to pull my couch down the wall to block it which makes it hard to get to so I looked into this. It was easy to put on, unfortunately I wasn’t able to screw it in from the top and bottom with how my outlet is set up but the middle screw was perfect and holds it in place sturdy. The cover is a hassle to open without taking the whole thing off. But I guess that means if I have trouble my kids will more than likely have trouble so it’s better than having my couch where I don’t want it sitting and having a hard time swapping what needs to be used and also it separates the cords at the bottom so they don’t wind up being mixed up. And a plus is the price of this and getting 2 ! I’ll definitely be buying more.

Pretty decent set, good buy for the price.
Works great for what I need. Just to cover a few problem outlets for when my little grandson visits. For the price it’s hard to beat the set and they work fine. I think these work best on Decora outlets, not the standard style one.The reason being, is that there are two screws used on the Decora. One on top and one on bottom of the plate. This makes the cover fit much more securely. If you have the old style outlets it’s not as sturdy. As it only has one screw in the center.It’s a very tight fit as I had to snap it over two power strip cords plugged in. These are very thick gauge cords, so it was hard to snap the cover shut. That’s not a problem with the product though. It’s just that the cords are very thick gauge. Bang for the buck this works good.

My mother-in-law kept kicking a cord under her table and the plug would come out of the outlet. After getting called over and over to come over and plug her lamp back in, I decided to go with a child proof outlet cover. This worked perfectly.Installation was quick and easy. I only needed a screwdriver and the power did not have to be turned off – though it is never a bad idea to do that if you are working near an outlet.This is not easy to undo so I would never advise it for an outlet that you use often. In my case, this was perfect because I don’t want my mother-in-law touching the outlet at all. Since it doesn’t open easily, she isn’t tempted to fuss with this.It has been almost a year since I installed this and we have had zero issues. When the pandemic hit and we were not able to go over to her place, I was very glad that it was installed.I hope you find this review helpful. If you do, please click Yes. Gets the job done
In comparison to other brands, this should not be labeled extra large as i have a few that were large but actually bigger in size than this one. It functions as it should but not as sturdy other others but this was a bit cheaper as well. Its easy to use and feels safe enough for my child.

I got this to baby proof my loft and bedroom. It is sturdy, easy to set up, and blends into the wall nicely. My baby constantly uses it like a pull up bar as she learns to stand but it hasn’t broken yet. The cons are that not all plug types fit even with the bigger size that I got.

Little bit off the measurement for the Australian outlet but I manage to cover it. Although you can’t use the on and off switches if you just want to just cover the outlet, it does the job 👍🏻. Good quality. I wish they made one for Aussie size too.

They fit my outlets perfectly, the included screws that were longer were perfect to replace the usual ones. Took all of 5 minutes to install and I think they will work well to stop our baby from playing with the plug in since we can’t cover it. Make sure your cord goes straight down as I had to change power bars so it would fit. Not a big deal!It would be great if there was an attached flexible tube that held the cord safely but I can’t seem to find anything with that so this will do!
