About EsemblyAbout Esembly

100% Organic Cotton
Made in the USA or Imported
Soft, Thirsty, and Made for Snuggles: The Esembly Inner is made from soft, unbleached organic cotton and features a unique butterfly-layered core that’s both trim and super absorbent. It swaddles your baby in breathable comfort while holding moisture where it matters most.
Part of the Blowout-Proof Dream Team: This is the absorbent part of our two-piece cloth diaper system. Layer the Inner under the waterproof Outer (sold separately) to keep leaks and messes contained. Use a fresh Inner at every diaper change; reuse the Outer unless it’s soiled.
Fits Just Right From Birth to Potty: Trim-fitting and available in two sizes—Size 1 (7-17 lbs) and Size 2 (18-35 lbs)—with adjustable waist snaps and stretchy leg openings that flex as your baby grows. For full-time cloth diapering, we recommend 24-30 Inners and 6-8 Outers.
Washes Clean, Dries Fast: Designed to let water and Washing Powder reach deep into the fabric during laundering, while also helping the Inner dry more quickly. Wash every 2-3 days—no soaking or special prep required.
Safe for Baby, Kind to the Planet: Made from 100% OEKO-TEX certified unbleached organic cotton and free from lead, BPA, PVC, and phthalates. Our Inners are independently tested to meet both US and EU safety standards—including food safety, for extra peace of mind.

    Super soaker.
I would do anything to convert to cloth diapering but I just can’t seem to figure it out and Esembly baby was certainly not the right answer for us.Two reasons:1) the snaps are really hard buttons that dig into your baby’s skin if you are to make a snug fit diaper. I felt so badly buttoning the inserts – it certainly hurt or was at least uncomfortable.2) highly absorbent? Nah. One pee from my newborn and the insert was soaked all the way through and leaking. It would be like putting a paper towel there. Sadly, these just aren’t going to work for me.I’m down to try another brand or two but other than that it’s back to Huggies owning me for the next 2 years.

    Quality problem
One of the inserts was not attached to the rest of the diapers. I’m assuming something happened in shipping. The other two were fine

So disappointed :(They fit great but they do not work. They hold maybe one pee anything more than that and it’s leaking through the diaper and clothes. Won’t be using anymore. Should have tested before buying so many 🙁

Two diapers in, zero poops absorbed
So far, so awful. I held off on purchasing these for several months even after my baby was born. We didn’t have anyone buy them for us off our registry, and they were so expensive. But we finally ran out of gifted disposables and it was time to make a game day decision. But two diapers in, I have two instances of: my hands coming away wet after checking baby’s thighs near her diaper, a soiled blanket, and pjs (mom’s) that now need laundering. I followed Esembly’s instructions for first-time use barring using their washing powder (seriously?? MORE money??), and tried the diapers twice since the first diaper leaked through after 3 hours. I thought, “Maybe 3 hours is too long for cloth diapers. Let’s try again.” But the second leak-through was mere minutes after changing her into a fresh diaper. Both times, I used an Inner and an Outer. I am not impressed. And it’s beyond disappointment. Somehow I feel betrayed. I was promised by Esembly that these were blowout-proof— not even promised… persuaded— and they are not. Not at all. $300 and hours of research later, they are not. They’re not even regular-bathroom-use-proof.

Expensive, inconvenient, and hard to wash
Got 1 outer layer and a bundle of 3 inner layers. The reason why I tried it is because I wanted something small, so that my new born daughter can use it. However, it’s just a little bit smaller than other cloth diapers and has a lot of downsides.Value for money is low, since you have to buy inner layers separately. My husband never uses it and doesn’t bother to learn it because he thinks it’s too complex compared to other cloth diapers we have. The inner (white) layer is very hard to clean. It stains and we had to toss one of the three when it got pooped on the second time. The inner layer is also way too thick.

    Big miss
Hate these i was set on using these but they are so stiff and when my son pees it doesn’t absorb off of him at all he it spreads around the whole thing making him soaked. Super uncomfortable

    STRETCHED ELASTIC!!! SCAM!!
These diapers are stretched elastic and are sold at a higher price than what is listed on Esemblys actual website. In the photo you can see a normal diaper compared to the one purchased here. Esemblys website has a clearance option where you can purchase stretched elastic diapers 3pk for 23$. Unfortunately there is no indication on the packaging unless you KNOW or already have assembly diapers from the actual website. Super disappointing.

    Disappointed
These are horrible, they leave my one month olds skin soaking wet. I have to change his diaper every hour when he has these on. Wish I never wasted my money!!!!!

  9. Holly

These have been amazing for my little girl, they’re so easy to wash (cold rinse with a little detergent and then a hot cycle and an extra rinse with a little more) and they fit perfectly! I’m definitely purchasing the next size up when she grows out of these. Wish me luck for when she starts solids 🤪

  10. Somya

No more leakage. Wish the price is slightly lower.

  11. Wendy May

These diapers are fine but don’t hold or absorb much. They become quite heavy when soiled. Also, you have to scrub around the seams to make sure all the poo comes out otherwise it gets stuck/baked in the stitching. They are also expensive in my opinion. They are nearly 20 dollars a diaper which is steep. And all their inserts for them are not helpful.
