Not much to it…
This is a really nice piece of wood, but I’m not sure how it’s really a toy. My child is very athletic, but he is only two and a half and this doesn’t seem to offer much challenge or entertainment to him when used as intended. Mostly he likes to roll marbles on it. To be clear, the 4 stars are not due to build quality. I weigh over 200 lbs and was unable to break it so it is at least very durable.

It’s high quality material, and has a high quality finish. Sturdy balance board – daughter loves it!
My daughter loves this balance board. She’s a little short for it, so it will get more use as she gets bigger, but she’s still using it some now. It’s a very thick and durable board. It has a natural look but does have a finish over it, so it has no rough edges. When she’s not using it as intended, she likes to prop it up and roll cars down it – so I guess it works for that too!

Size is 31.7-Inch.I am pleased with the quality, design and functionality of this product. It can be used for a wide range of ages including in my home we are using it between 1 years and 8 years of age.It is very easy to use, simply remove from box and it’s ready to go.It is a well made, wooden toy and it’s high dentist wood but not heavy. It is very safe and kids have learned to balance and enjoy trying new skills on this board.It’s well priced for a full 100% wooden balance board that is safe and contains no harsh ingredients of any kind.I would say this is a fantastic gift for a toddler or a household with toddlers and even other kids. During rainy and windy cold winter days this will pay for itself.

I have a kiddo that is 4 and she will do well with this.she can struggle with core strengthAnd I am happy toTry this to help her with the strength she needs to build. The kids have been using it more as a ramp, but still great fun!
As with pretty much anything Fisher Price, you are getting a high quality product here and appropriate for a wide age range. The wood itself is very solid with a nice smooth finish. I checked all around and couldn’t find any splinters or rough spots, so the quality control on this is great.This Balance Board is solid wood and has stood up to even me as a grown adult testing it (just briefly to see how much weight it could take). The board itself naturally likes to stabilize at the center, so even for a preschooler I felt safe letting them play on it solo. As they creep towards one side, the board slowly goes out of balance so they have a chance to recover. Overall, it’s very durable and safe.The only thing I wasn’t expecting is that after about a day, the kids stopped using this for balance practice and now just turned it into a giant ramp for their toy cars. It serves that purpose well and I’m glad it’s not just sitting in a corner taking up space.For $65 it is a little expensive, but this is also a name-brand product made to a very high quality. This board accomplishes its goal of giving kids a way to practice their balance at home in a safe manner.
