Not too sticky, not too greasy, not too stinky, Goldilocks will love this stuff, it’s just right.
While the smell of lanolin is not something I’d call pleasant, this one ranks (see what I did there?) pretty well among these products. I use it with my nose for my CPAP machine, as it helps the seal, and prevents chapping and chafing. I also use it on my hands as I haven’t found anything other than bacon grease to soften my rough hands, especially in the dry winter time.Good stuff. Use it regularly, since it’s natural, it might oxidize before you can use it all, so get to work!

Can be used for multiple purposes….
Makes for softer skin. There’s a bonus, my mother used to combine lanolin, Vaseline, and real shea butter for a leather softener and protectant. Once you’ve combined the ingredients rub in and buff as you would a leather seat don’t rub off excess, the leather will absorb it. Cover will clothing bag (garbage bag large) and let it marinate for 5-7 days. Take out wipe down, what ever is excess, which shouldn’t be much, should come right off. My hubby has me order scented shea butter to make his jacket and boots smell last longer. Usually mango or pineapple. Or you can add a little of your own cologne (beware that does have alcohol and can cause discoloration to some materials).Have fun with your recipe, it works on ladies leather also, don’t use on suede. Just doesn’t work.

Great solution for slide grease on a horn
I’m a semi-pro horn player for over 45 years. This works great as a slide grease on a horn, have also used this on the threads for the bell. The only thing to note is that when the temperature is cool, let alone cold (i.e. less than about 75 degrees), the lanolin is pretty hard. A little work with a finger loosens up quickly. In a warm room, this applies very quickly.

Not Worth the money
I bought this to help with painful heat rash. It is very messy and I do not believe it helped in any way. I finally used cortisone cream and THAT helped. This product wasn’t it.
