Such a fun and classic toy! My daughter loves mixing and matching all the magnetic outfits and accessories. The pieces are sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some other sets. I love that it encourages creativity and keeps her entertained for long stretches of time. Everything stores neatly in the wooden box, which makes cleanup easy. Perfect gift idea for kids who enjoy pretend play!

My nieces love playing with these dolls. The magnet strength is good, the items stay on the doll when it’s being moved around, but it’s not so strong that the 3 year old couldn’t easily remove things. It has a lot of clothes/accessory options, which comes in handy with two small children, otherwise these two would argue about who gets to “wear” what. It comes in a nice wooden tray, there’s no real lid for it, just a thin plastic piece that sits over the center section. I would have liked to have a lid that latches in some way to make it easy to store, but overall it’s a great toy that keeps the kids entertained for hours.

Emma and Abby A Hit!
Abby and Emma are the perfect dolls. They are very sturdy, and they stand up on an indented platform that is perfect for children. My granbddaughter is 2 1/2, and she took to these dolls and their outfits easily, I showed her how to put on one outfit and she picked it up immediately. She was able to navigtate the pieces of clothing from shoes to hats. She played for over an hour with these dolls- she had them go to the office and to work, and then to the playground and school. She sang with them and to them and they recited their ABC’s. She did not like their names and calls thems her baby dolls. Sometimes they are mommies going to work and sometimes they are little girls. She uses her imagination at the time and they become whatever she wants.The case for the dolls and their magnetic dress-up set, is actually perfect. The dolls each have their own spot and then there is room for the outfits. A cover for the case would have been preferable, but my granddaughter is careful with her toys, so they have their own place. I think she will enjoy these dolls for a long time. Her imagination is pretty vivid, and she and I had fun changing outfits and deciding what the day’s activites would be.I have found that Melissa and Doug’s toys and sets are so well made. They are sturdy and come as advertised. The recommended age is stated on each toy, and it is usually spot on. Love These Dolls- Some Clothing Inappropriate
We purchased this set as well as two other Melissa and Doug dress up doll set for our daughter for Christmas. They are all absolutely wonderful. Very well made. The type of toy that you can pass from child to child. My daughter loves to dress up all the dolls and then stand them up and play pretend (like they are all going to a ball). These dolls keep her occupied for at least an hour, absolutely amazing!Our one complaint with this set is some of the clothing in this set was a little to “small”. There are some mini skirts and belly shirts in this set it seems and for our family that is not appropriate clothing for a 3+ year old to be learning about. However, I did voice my concern with the company directly (Melissa and Doug) and they were extremely prompt in a response and were eager to rectify my issue. I have not experienced such great customer service in a very long time! Our family will now be life long consumers of Melissa and Doug products as they had already won me over with the quality of their products and now we have the absolute cherry on top of fantastic, friendly and quick customer service!Great company and great products!Also, out of all the items my daughter received for Christmas these are what she has been playing with for the past week.I also love that the box has suggestions for educational uses for these dolls!I wanted to make note that I’ve read some of the other reviews about wishing there was a lid to this product. Yes, that would be nice but it really hasn’t been a problem for us as our daughter has been told that after you are done playing with the dolls all items must be picked up and put neatly back in the container. But a lid would be nice for transportation purposes. Especially since the container that it comes in is so nice.

If I could give zero star, I would.Horrible purchase. It was meant as a gift and I am glad I opened to check it.Item was packed in a used ziplock which was suspicious to me. Then I realized the box was broken, pieces were stained, peeling and had chipped-edges. Definitely something not brand new. Pure disaster.

The wooden box divider was cracked from inside.But overall it’s a great educational toy for kids, teaches them how to independently pick and choose outfits for different occasions.My four year old spent hours playing with it.
