    Perfect puzzle!
These abc puzzles with the pegs are a must for growing babies. It helps them develop their finger grasp as well as learning letters and associating them with pictures.Been a fan of Melissa and Doug since my first kid. They stick to the basics and use good materials.

    Good Puzzle
Good puzzle but a bit difficult for my two year old because some of the pieces aren’t the actual shape of the letters. With that said, it’s a great way to help her learn the alphabet.

Great, classic teach puzzle and excellent quality
After reading other reviews I guess I have to point out this isn’t a traditional “match the shape” kind of puzzle. This is meant to be EDUCATIONAL. Work with your toddler to learn the alphabet. This puzzle is great at teaching them the order of the alphabetic, phonetical sounds, and how to match a letter with the sound it makes for an object. Love Melissa & Doug. We owned so many of these puzzles when my teenagers were kids and now they are both excellent high school students. I came back to buy them all over again for my new nephew.

Great but I suggest the version without pegs if your budget allows for that.
This is a great puzzle – and the price is pretty much unbeatable. But honestly, I wish I had gone for the pricier one that don’t have pegs in the pieces. First – the pegs might it pretty difficult for the younger toddlers to use – they have trouble getting the pieces back in since they swivel a bit as their trying to put them down. Yes this does mean they’re working on their motor skills while playing with this – but I bought this to help my son learn the alphabet, he has loads of other toys that help him with motor skills. Right now he gets very frustrated with it since he can’t put the pieces in all by himself (which of course is a necessity for some toddlers). The other thing – these pieces are very small – which makes sense (it’s a lot of pieces to fit into a board!) – but that means that you will probably end up with pieces on the floor…and if you don’t notice them while walking around barefoot you definitely will when you step on that peg (not very fun!).The quality isn’t fantastic – but it’s obviously designed to be an economical option that just about anyone can afford – so for this price it’s definitely not lacking in that department. But I have had a chance to play with the alphabet art version of this at my sons doctors office – the quality is noticeably better (and the pieces have no pegs) – but of course it’s also twice the price. Still debating whether or not I’ll buy a new one or just make do with this one…we’ll see.

    Great purchase!
My little 3 year old Granddaughter loves playing with this puzzle and singing her “abc’s.” So cute! This item arrived in excellent condition without any defects. Happy customer!

Great toy for learning and playing
This puzzle is amazing! I actually bought it a year ago for my two toddlers to share, and it has been (surprisingly to me) one of their favorites. The pictures under the letters seem to make the letter names more memorable for my now 3 year old, which is awesome. And the pieces have held up surprisingly well to being put into mouths, flung across the room, shoved into small spaces, and even stepped on (ouch).Of note, because of the way these are cut, some letters can fit into more than one spot. D can fit into C, E can fit into F, V can fit into A… but with a little guidance, your little one will get the hang of it. I would definitely buy this again.

    Great gift for toddlers
This puzzle is a really cute, easy puzzle for a toddler to do. Bonus it can help them learn their letters. Every letter has a cute picture underneath the letter that starts with that letter. The only part I dislike about it is the fact that if tipped in any direction the puzzle pieces will fall out. That’s normal for most kid puzzles though so it is what it is. Melissa and Doug make cute toys and I’d recommend this one.

Choking hazard for toddlers who put things in mouth
My son is obsessed with ABCs. He still puts things in his mouth. I do not recommend this if your toddler puts things in their mouth because the letters aren’t big enough. He crammed 3 letters all into his mouth. Afraid of him choking so will have to put it away until he ever learns not to put everything in mouth. Also noticed that the colors came off after they were in his mouth.

This puzzle is super cute and good quality. It has little knobs on it, That makes it easy for little hands and fingers to grab the pieces. Seems like it’ll be pretty durable. The design and pictures are cute and the colours are nice and vibrant. I bought this for a gift and will definitely recommend it.

I bought it under lightning deal for 355rs and it’s completely worth it… The pegs and the whole wooden board is quality wood as the name of the brand…pictures under the puzzle helps children to explore and see what is beneath the pegs and my son finds it intriguing and learn words with letters…the product is exactly the same as shown in picture…have to check on sturdiness of the board as days goes by…overall a quality toy which is worth every penny…nice packaging and as usual before time delivery by Amazon.

    Really good quality.
