This product is wonderful! Relieves chapped/cracked skin. Yes, it balls up, but that is due to the coconut oil. A little body heat will remedy that such as putting the tube under your arm or between your thighs for a few minutes while you’re nursing. Definitely went on smoother and smoothed out the cream when I did. That you don’t need to wipe it off is a bonus too! I’ve also used it on my baby’s chin and face for eczema and chapping from salivating from teething.

PRODUCT DEFECTIVE- NOT A WHITE CREAM
The product was defective. It should be a cream not a jelly like substance with white grain like chunks. Also there was no expiration date on the bottle and my previous bottle (which i didn’t buy on Amazon, but instead bought in a store) had a expiration date and was actually a white cream which worked great.I noticed some of the other reviews complain about the same issue (it’s not a cream). But it should be a cream and I know it worked great if you get a good quality bottle. This unfortunately was not.

Actually moisturizes and soothes
Lanolin was ok, but it was thick and hard to spread over nipples and stained clothing but this product was everything I needed in a nipple cream. This product was actually gifted to me by a friend when I told her how much I was struggling my first few days breastfeeding my newborn. After using it I noticed it:1) it actually soothes and helps with pain relief associated with breast feeding2) safe to breastfeed right away (as a new mom, the idea of adding an extra step to anything as I’m trying to adjust to the million new things that comes with having a newborn was not something I wanted to deal with)3) it didn’t leave greasy thick stains on my clothes or anything else, which leads me to believe it isn’t clogging any of my pores (I can’t say that last part is 100% for sure but it seems like it)4) a little goes a long way. A pea sized amount softened between fingers and spread over nipples is all u need (in 4 days I was half way through a bottle of regular lanolin)With all of that being said, I ran and bought another tube just to put in my diaper bag and my scabby/ sore nips are finally healing after a short few days.Just a heads up the cream is very coconut forward and does remind me of coconut oil from the jar, but there’s something to it that just makes it a way better. 10/10 would recommend.

great in theory
I purchased this really excited to not have to use sticky and messy lanolin. I brought to the hospital to use after my child’s birth. I tried it before I placed it on my nipple. It had a weird taste but wasn’t super bad so I went ahead and put some on my nipple. I tried to nurse my daughter after and she literally started to gag when she tasted it and refused to nurse until I cleaned this product completely off my nipple. Great in theory but I think they need to work on the taste. Infants are smarter than you think.

Good for Soothing and Prevention
Unlike many nursing creams, this is a clear formula so it won’t stain or smear either your’s or baby’s clothing. It is all-natural and so you don’t even need to wipe it off before nursing. It soothes pain and prevents cracking. The very faint smell it has is primarily of coconut, but not overpowering in the least…just soothing and relaxing. The only aspect of it that I wasn’t a big fan of is the fact that when coconut oil solidifies, it gets a little grainy. It didn’t hurt to put on, but it wasn’t smooth like vaseline (not that you would use that for nursing!). It warms immediately as it touches your skin, and the little coconut granules absorb and smooth onto your skin. I recommend this if you are looking for a nursing cream beyond simply coconut oil.

Great product!
I bought this to use it as a lubricant for pumping. My nipples were so sore I wanted to quit breastfeeding right away but this product saved me! within 12 hr I could already feel a difference. After a week it was comfortable to pump ever 3 hours without wanting to cry! I have recommended this product to friends! It doesn’t stink like lanolin does and melts on your skin.
