These are helpful for hot flashes
I ordered these cold packs to help keep me cool when I have hot flashes. When I’m trying to sleep, I will get waves of hot flashes that keep me awake unless I have an ice pack next to me to keep me cool. This set of cold packs might not have been designed for that purpose, but they work well for it. They freeze well and keep their cool for a long time, but as hot as I get, I need to switch out cold packs during the night, so there are enough in this set that I can have two at a time and then replace them for the other two later on.These are very comfortable to use wherever I place them against me, the material is thick and durable, so I don’t worry they will break or leak. They are big enough to be useful but not so big as to be bulky or cumbersome. I also use them now and again when my lower back hurts, and I get good pain relief with these. They have an eye catching design that makes them easy to see in the freezer, so that helps.I like this set of cold packs a lot. They’re very nice quality, and they do provide cooling relief for many areas of the body and for varying kinds of pain.

Soft and economical, use it hot or cold
The Ruheaou perineal ice packs are a reusable solution which will serve for postpartum care or a range of other circumstances. The nice thing is that of course you can re-use them over and over and with four to a package there is a good supply for being able to have a fresh cold pack ready in the freezer, and the other nice thing is that this is the soft type of gel that doesn’t freeze rock hard.Because the gel is soft, it is a good idea to massage it into the area that you primarily want it, to make it thicker there, before putting it into the freezer. The gel pack can also be warmed in hot water for using it warm. There is some potential for the edges of these plastic pads to cut into you because the but wrapping it in a thin clean sock would be one way to protect yourself if that ever seemed to be an issue. In fact, the instructions advise wrapping the gel pack in a cloth before use so that it won’t be too hot or cold against you. These gel cold packs have flowers printed on them, just for nice.I think these are quite a reasonable value. They are certainly very economical in comparison with disposable perineal cold packs.

Firm, oversized cold packs that don’t stay flexible
These cold packs are larger than I expected and become icy firm when frozen, which makes them uncomfortable for direct use on the body. I originally got them to fit inside a back brace, but the size and stiffness made that difficult. They do stay cold for a long time, so I’ve ended up using them more for keeping food or drinks cold instead.✅ Highlights• Stay cold for an extended time• Multipurpose for cooling items❌ Cons• Become stiff when frozen• Larger than expected• Not comfortable for body useThese work well for keeping things cold but aren’t flexible or comfortable enough for their intended use.-Review of DINGCAIDC “Reusable Perineal Cold Packs for Postpartum Recovery (4 Pack) – Gel Ice Pads, Soothing Relief After Vaginal Delivery (Blue)”

Soothing Relief for Postpartum, Periods and Sore Muscles
These cold/hot pads are incredibly soothing – not just for postpartum recovery, but also for monthly cycles, intense workouts or anytime you’re feeling discomfort down there. The floral design is so pretty and I love that they can be used either cold or warm since every body heals differently. They’re the perfect length to reach all the sore spots. They are not too thick or thin and have a gentle curved shape like a pad, so they’re not bulky or awkward to wear. I do wish they came with a thin cloth cover to help apply them closer to the area, but using a bit of toilet paper in between works fine for now. They are so easy to use, they could technically be used for other sore areas, too; even for headaches or eye relief – as long as they’re properly cleaned of course. I appreciate they provide four in a pack, too, so you’ll always have one to use. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase – they’re a high quality product!

Great for fever and muscle pain
I purchased this with the intention of using it for when my kids have a fever and or for the muscle pain. These are really great for that; these can retain the cold for quite a long time and give the relief that we needed. They are colder than body temperature in the outside temperature, but I prefer freezing cold, so I keep them in the freezer. The size is perfect for our use, but I think it is too thick (bulky) if you’re planning to use it for perineal recovery.I think with the size, the quantity (4 packs), and the quality, this is a good deal!

Do you have a piercing? A new tattoo? An enthusiastic partner? Look, if you’re over 18..
1 – Great for the stated use, post partum — I had a pair of these when the boy child was born, and they kept me from committing filicide.2. STILL great for any of you who have considered a tattoo or a piercing. If you know, you know.3. STILL STILL great if your partner is kinky, or has a piercing, or is an S on the S/m scale. If you know, you STILL know.4. Finally, still great if your partner is … uhm .. generously proportioned. See the “if you know, you know”.So altogether — these are worth keeping in the freezer, at least one or two, during your adult life.

    Leaks
They popped. I was sitting and liquid came out.

  8. JM

Great for anyone with perineal inflammation
These perineal cold packs are such a good idea. They’re not just for postpartum recovery, either. They’re great for any pain or inflammation in the perineal area. I’d say there is no reason to freeze these. The refrigerator is cold enough to make them effective, but not so cold as to be painful. After all, it’s a delicate area. I haven’t tried heating them yet, but I’m sure I’ll give that a shot eventually. For now, the cooling effect is perfect. The plastic that contains the gel inside feels thick and sturdy. I’m not worried at all about it leaking. The sealed seams are wide and look completely secure. The shape of these ice packs makes them much more comfortable to use compared to the standard rectangular shape. Overall, this feels like a quality product that should last a long time.
