I’ve bought quite a few of these for around the house. There are imitations of the Sleek Socket but nothing compares to the made in America original real deal Sleek Socket. The design of these and various lengths and orientations of these sockets make these things incredibly useful. I’ve used 8 foot one to extend a socket from a hard to reach area to a more open area I’ve used one with two socket ends for under a bed to have plugs on both sides to plug in side tables and I’ve even just used one to bring the socket further up a wall to plug in a appliance that i have on a shelf and with as flat as the Sleek Socket is and flush to the wall it becomes you can push a bed, shelving or whatever you can think of and out of the way and not worry about hitting a protruding cord which is a godsend. These sockets are UL listed and even tested by people at the company and every unit has a receipt with the employees name and date of when they tested the unit meaning they are proven to be safe and what mattered to me most is they list the maximum wattage of each plug so you can know what plug can handle what wattage safely without pulling an unsafe amount of power from the unit at one time. Expensive? Maybe to some but like with many things in life you get what you pay for and these are quality. I highly recommend this product but i would suggest you check your outlet orientation and see what way you want to run the cord to make sure you buy the correct orientation unit as to your wall plug.

Sleek design and durable
I bought this to cover over the plug port and create a clean look going up to my wall mounted TV it was just long enough to reach where I needed it too so there was no extra chord hanging around. I ended up buy 2 extras after the project to set up in my sons room for baby monitors the white color helps everything blend well so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. I’ve had them up for months and the adhesive material has not worn out my son has tried and cannot pull them off the wall. I highly recommend these for any needs you may have! Great value!

My photos are before, after, and during. The little plastic pieces have 3M sticky backings and there are no instructions so I will give some here. You need a paint stirring stick. Open both packs of plastic pieces. There is one small piece you may or may not need. Measure where the turn will be on the wall because you will need that much open cord to make the turn. Pay attention to whether you want the open side of the plastic case to face the door and that the sticky is on the correct side. I have the closed side facing the entry door. But I mistakenly placed the rest in the same direction so that after the turn along the baseboard the open side faces up so dust will get inside until I change them. The plastic cases have the sticky on the wrong side, I think, because the ends are slightly longer on this side, which means that the cord shows at the joints on the visible side but not on the sticky wall side. It may be that the other pack of pieces had the opposite. Open a plastic case piece by inserting a corner of the Home Depot stirring stick in the wider part on the end, then rock the stick down about a half inch and opening the plastic insert all the stick in, then work the cord into the top quarter or half inch above the stick and keep going, sliding the stick downward as you go. When the stick is out, take the end of the stick and push the cord all the way into the plastic, or use your fingers. Plug the thing in to see where the cord will turn so that you have enough cord without plastic that can make the turn. After you have enough of the cord in plastic cases, plug the thing in again and practice how you will make the turn and stick the cord to the wall. Then unplug it and peel the paper off the sticky from about four cases. Then plug in again and press the encased cord down the wall and in the turn, pressing as you go. Then peel and stick and press the others. Good luck. Overall I’m glad I purchased this (prime day). At the end is a 3 plug strip.

Very sleek – but be warned, does rip off paint
We got this in anticipation of moving our very curious and mischievous 2 year old out of her crib into a big kid bed, and knowing she’d be poking around her room as she got adjusted. It’s great and really hard to pull out of the wall for a little kid (so far) and meets our purposes there. As others have noted, you can’t arrange it so the wire goes up because of the 3 prong nature of the plug, so the wire has to go down and then up again if you are putting something high up like a baby monitor (like we were).A warning – the adhesive so far is really strong. Don’t stick it until you are certain that’s where you want it to go because it did peel off our paint when I stuck it down and then tried to move it within seconds of putting it down to straighten it. It really stuck on there immediately. Super good feature for kid proofing purposes just make sure you go slow and steady as you stick it on, and maybe something to be mindful of for those who may rent and don’t want to go through the re-painting issue for security deposit purposes.

Behind cabinet access to power
I have two of these, both used to get access to outlets that are behind cabinets without creating that situation where the cabinet can’t fit tight to the wall due to hitting a plug. Use this and run the extension to a handy spot.

I recently bought this primarily for the safety of my kids, with this I’m they dnt drag the wires as those are completely hidden and is very safe, very much recommended. The price I hope was slightly low but for the safety point of view I was ready to lay this much.
