I’m really happy with this nursery chair! The assembly was easy—took just a few minutes with clear instructions. The quality is very good, especially considering the price. It looks great in the nursery and is very comfortable for feeding and rocking. Definitely a great purchase for new parents on a budget!

This Storkcraft rocking chair exceeded all my expectations. Its elegant design and neutral color fit perfectly into any setting. It was very easy to assemble; it only took me about 20 minutes. A lot of reviews are commenting on the poor build quality and the short lifespan of this product. I just ordered this product about a week ago and I will provide my input based off the first week of usage.Overall Impression:Overall, this chair is pretty good. I have yet to see any major issues that other users reported but It’s not a perfect 5 star. Build quality is good and you get what you pay for but so far, it’s been good. See below for some more detail.Assembly:The assembly of the product is extremely straightforward and easy. I’d almost argue it’s easier than assembling a piece of Ikea Furniture. All the tools you NEED are included in the box. It is a simple hex wrench that is very similar to Ikea products. What may make it a LITTLE bit easier is a screw driver. I assembled the whole thing with just the provided hex wrench.The chair comes in four parts: The glide base, the back, and two arm rests. This doesn’t include the padding. Once you bold all the extremities to the base, the pads simply button onto or tie onto the frame. After that’s complete, you can enjoy your gliding goodness.The Ottoman comes in one piece that you just take out of the box. It’s quite simple.Comfort:This thing is surprisingly comfortable. The pads (for now) are pretty cushy and hte spring loaded bottom of the chair gives you just enough give so you don’t get a sore tail bone.Build Quality:Here’s where a lot of people had issues. The build quality is not terrible, but at the same time, I did feel a little hesitant that if I put all my weight on any part (Back or arm rests) the thing would break. Over the last week, no issues have arisen and it’s been pretty solid. Another complaint I’ve read is the glide has a scratching noise as if something is rubbing. I have not yet seen this issue either. Again, I’ve only had the chair for a week or so, so there’s not telling what will happen.The cushions are comfortable for now but I can tell that they’re not going to last very long. They are not a high density foam that’s made to last, instead, they’re a nice cushy soft foam that will wear over time.Pros:Easy to assembleComfy cushions with pockets for storing thingsCheap priceSmooth GlideNeutrals:Don’t think the cushions will last very longDecent build quality of the chairCons:None to report yet.

This is a good glider and ottoman set. It was fairly easy to put together and the ottoman came pre-assembled. The cushions are nice and plushy. The mechanisms work well for a smooth glide, and the side pockets are a nice bonus for when you get nap trapped and need a place to put small items or snacks.

Nice chair, but not as comfy as I imagined
The chair was pretty easy to assemble. It looks nice. However, I expected the pillows and cushions to be more comfy. They are very thin, and the chair overall is small. I wanted something that felt as if it wrapped around me. I will need to add more lumbar/ back support. If I hadn’t put it together I may have invested in a bigger more comfy chair. But this will do. For the price not bad. It rocks fine, no noise. Seems pretty sturdy for now.

The Glider is damaged and it is very distressing as it was a gift for my severely disabled Daughter. $580 is a lot of money for a Pensioner. This item was obviously unsuitable for sale but unfortunately I was the person it was delivered to. Still waiting to hear back from Amazon as Australia post will not except the item to send on as it is to bulky. Amazon said they would be ringing me back on 23rd and still waiting to hear back. I won’t hold my breath.Amazon have also asked me to pay for the return and they will reimburse myself for the return and again not holding my breath. Extremely disappointed and hopefully will be able to purchase through another provider.I did purchase a Glider Chair in May and it is a great chair but it is far superior chair to the chair I have recieved.

Was looking forward to receiving the glider + ottoman. To be honest, the same design is carried by different brands so it’s clearly made elsewhere. In this case, this one is made in Indonesia – not that I care, but there are QC issues (see photos).The yellow glue stains were on BOTH sides of the chair… either the workshop couldn’t be bothered to clean up, or this has been in storage for so long, the glue leaked.One of the foot is scruffed / damaged as well.Come on Picky Shop, do better quality controls with this Stork Craft item please.

For my first baby, I had decided that one of these just wasn’t necessary. But when I got pregnant with my second, I needed a nice place to sit in his room to nurse over night, and finally decided to get one. My son is only 2 and half weeks old now, but I consider this to be one of the most valuable purchases this time around! The fit of the chair is just perfect to feed him easily for me. It’s comfortable to be sitting in for long periods, multiple times per day. The material doesn’t seem that great, but it does almost feel like it would be easy to wipe stains off and clean if I had to. It has nice pockets on the sides of the arms to hold things you might need. I keep books in there to read to my son when he’s awake, and it’s really convenient.It really was super easy to put together. I was 8 months pregnant when we received this, and I was able to build it by myself without any issues. I’ve been using it ever since, testing it out with my older son before the new one came along, and I think everyone in the family just really likes it.All in all, this is a bit of a cheaper chair when you compare it to a lot of other models out there, and I do think it shows a bit in the material and quality of the cushions, however I personally don’t have any issues with it, and find it perfectly comfortable and well suited to us. I’ve only been using it for about 3 months, so can’t speak to it’s longevity, but so far it hasn’t had any issues, and I hope for it to last us a long time.
