This wall plate is great ! Wall plate is pure white, and the screw free design gives it a clean and modern look. Plate is slightly wider and taller than a standard plate. Installation was quick, and the hidden inner plate clearly marks the top; plus, the six locking clips hold the faceplate extra securely.

It’s great – and a fitting match for my light switch plate too. It’s pure and glossy white, not cream-ish. Looks neat on the wall without the screw (this is particularly noticeable for the white color) and is now so fast to clean. It is a bit wider and taller than a regular one, so if your previous paint job wasn’t perfect you’d be able to conceal those edges.Installation was fast and easy. The hidden inner plate (the one that you attach first with the included screw) has the “top” marking, there is also the same “top” marking on the back of the plate itself so you would not have to guess how to position it. I had to take it off once as I didn’t properly tighten the screw that holds the inner plate, and that’s when I noticed that unlike many others, this plate has a total of 6 locking clips (vs usual 4): 2 at the top, 2 on the bottom and 2 extra in the middle – so it’s holding the face plate extra tight (you can see on the photo).

Modern looks and easy install
Interesting concept for no visible screws. While the product worked as advertised, the plastic is not that rigid. I suppose this is actually a good design trade-off. If the plastic was too thick and rigid, it would likely crack if over tightening the screw. As it is it flexes to fit over the electrical outlet and fit snug against the wall. The end result is nice and modern. The cover has a nice square edge as opposed to the typical 1970s and 80s rounded off Look. Also, the nice white color is very modern and works well in any decor.Having said all that I’m only giving this four stars because I’m not convinced I would want to use this on every outlet in the house. The looks may be modern, but the flexible plastic just doesn’t feel as secure as I’d like.

Very clean look!
These are actually pretty dang cool!Very sleek modern design for really any home style. They just make everything look ‘clean’.Install was a breeze – just screw on the base plate and snap the face on. There is a groove at the bottom of the face plate to remove it for repairs. Just pull it off or put a screwdriver in to gently pry it off.Pro tip – make sure the switches are tightly screwed in the wall itself before putting on the plate, or it’ll make the switch cover stick out more significantly than it needs to. It also helps some to have the switches up so you can slip the face plate right on and not have to maneuver it around the switches.The base of the switch plate isn’t concave on the back, so it doesn’t sit totally flat against the wall like a standard plate. There is a very slight gap between the wall and the switch cover.It comes with everything you need, including screws.The plastic switch plates feel like they’ll hold up well and seem to be a good quality. The plastic doesn’t bend easily, so they should hold up well the daily use.Cleaning will be easy considering there aren’t any grooves for gunk to stick in.We’re changing all of our switches to white from cream, so I’ll be buying more to convert the whole house to this design!

A wall plate, does its job.
A simple wall plate that served my needs perfectly. One of my wall plates needed replacing and this one does the job. Was easy to install.Personally, I dislike the squared edges as opposed to a smoother design. It excessively stands out against the wall, when I feel that it should be trying to be as discreet as possible.My bigger concern is figuring out how to REMOVE this wall plate when the need to arises. There is a small press-latch at the bottom of the plate that releases the outer face on the cover, but try as I might with my hands and various types of screwdrivers, I could not get the cover to release and eventually gave up. Hopefully no such situation crops up anytime soon, but I have no idea how I’ll end up dealing with it when it happens.

These outlet covers are a great way to update existing plugs. Since the screw is hidden behind the plate cover, they look clean and modern. I originally got them for my kitchen and didn’t pay attention that those outlets are actually one big rectangle, so I couldn’t use them there. However, I was able to use them in my living room that has the double plugs and they gave them an updated look and feel. They were easy to install in a couple of minutes. Highly recommend.

That aside, they do provide a sleek, modern look once installed. Fit can be an issue, as the openings may be slightly too large for some outlets, which takes away from the clean finish. If your outlets are the right size, however, they look attractive and polished. The set includes enough plates for five outlets, made from durable plastic, installation is easy straightforward.

I’m currently in the middle of doing a major home make-over which includes having all the interior of the house repainted. I removed the old outlet wall plates prior to painting and was planning on putting them back after the painting was complete. However, the problem with the normal wall plates with screws is the matching paint on the screw always flakes off, leaving a bare metal screw which stands out on a white plate. I was contemplating replacing all the wall plates with new ones and new screws when I came across these screwless wall plates.These screwless wall plates actually consists of two plates: an inner plate that attaches to the outlet with a single screw like a conventional plate, and an outer plate that snaps onto the inner plate covering up the screw. The dimensions (height and width) of the outer plate are the same as a standard wall plate, but it does protrude out ¼ inch (7 mm) from the wall which is about twice that of a conventional wall plate. This extra thickness resulted in one of the plates I received not being completely flush with the two outlets on one of my plugs, with the plugs being slightly recessed to the plate. However, they were fine on the other four outlets where I used these plates.The wall plates are made of polycarbonate thermoplastic and appear to be good quality and durable. They are also UL listed for safety and peace of mind. At the time of this review, the pricing works out to about $4 per wall plate, which in my opinion is quite high, when compared to the standard plates which can be purchased for less than $1 each.

These outlet covers just didn’t work for my setup. My outlets are pretty old so it might be that they need to be replaced or moved forward, but with these installed, the outlets look really sunken in which doesn’t look great.I also thought I’d love the square design but in person it just didn’t suit my space as much as I expected.That said, they do have a clean modern look and the bright white color is really nice. I like that the screws are hidden and the two-piece design definitely makes them feel a bit more upscale.The price felt a little high for a pack of five but considering the design and that you need two plates per outlet, it’s fair.They just weren’t the right fit for my setup but they might work better for others with more updated outlets. Just wanted to share my experience.
