Two of my children now have it! We love the VTech Little Apps Tablets-It is tremendous!
We have had several VTech Little Apps Tablets. Initially, we received it for my two-year-old as a gift and he fell in love. At first, it began with just poking buttons and moving the little tab but it grew into a wonderful experience for him. He learned so much that it is unbelievable. Scout (the main character) in the tablet taught him to count, letters, numbers, shapes, and so much more. He would surprise us all the time with what he learned. After he had it for six months, he dumped a glass of milk on it and we immediately replaced it. It is not liquid friendly by any means. Now my second child who is 1 1/2 has taken interest in little phones, tiny tablets, and all of his older brothers’ toys that make noise. The Vtech tablet did not survive because it began to glitch. I have ordered him a new VTech Tablet and am so happy that he gets to explore the world of wonder that this brother so adored. This is a wonderful tablet. It is full of adventure and learning.

    Durable and make learning fun!!
My daughter is obsessed with these things!! She is on the autistism spectrum and this has been one of her comfort toys going on 6 years. We have one in every color and she carries it everywhere. They are durable and promote learning, which as a mother I love!!

    Fun toy for preschoolers!!!!
I love all the features this toy offers for such an affordable price, there are numbers and the alphabet and and lots of fun exercises to do while playing around with the numbers and the ABC’s. Its simply up to the parent to sit with their child and teach them also, too many parents these days want toys to teach their kids but they don’t want to have to invest any time into helping them also, so if the kids aren’t learning they immediately criticize the toy and are really fast to give it a bad review here. My daughter owns quite a few V tech toys and I am not saying all V tech toys are great and geared toward learning , we as parents just have to remember its only a toy and we cant substitute a toy for a person that would sit and explain everything the toy is doing. I am doing this with my daughter at the moment and she is really smart and she is only 20 months. As for the features of the toy, the buttons are flat and not raised and the screen is not colored but the voice used is cute and not irritating as is the problem with a lot of the toys these days. Its not obnoxiously loud and that was a plus for me also, the keyboard is really fun and my daughter enjoys playing the music there, when she gets a little older and is speaking properly I will begin to teach her everything this wonderful toy has to offer. The packaging was easy to open and it was still secure enough so the toy wasn’t moving around in the box. It was delivered well before the estimated date of delivery also.

My Great Grand DAughters favorit tablet
We are two old fogies raising two great grand kids – the oldest one (three years old), loves this tablet and plays it all the time – she is autistic and stays up for a while at bed time playing in the dark, this one lights up in the dark, so it’s the toy of choice at bed time too. We bought our first one in a yard sale, but lately, her brother (terrible two!) jumped on it and broke the screen. this led me to buy one here, which arrived with melted batteries that damaged the device, so I had to return it and ask for another.High and behold, the second one arrived with melted batteries too! But this time, there was no serious damage and I was able to clean it up with alcohol and WD40 to get it working.I still give it five stars because it’s not the tablets fault someone put live batteries in it.Who ever is hosting these devices should correct the battery problem.

Good toy but not for all ages listed
The games are more appropriate for 3-5 years vs 2-5 years unless the parent is playing too or the child is just doing basic things that many other toys do such as look at pictures and play songs. The things younger children can do on their own are pretty basic rather using as a unique learning toy. I should have read the reviews more carefully as many others mention this same issue.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 2 year old nephew. Initially his parents and his were thinking this is too advanced for his age. But there are numerous activities in the product with loony sounds and effects that eventually my nephew started liking it and even now a year later there are functions in them he mostly uses and some a little advanced in age.Helps his parents also to keep him engaged esp during lock down time.
