Great Learning Tool
The board and letters are made from good quality wood. I highly recommend. However, I wish it came with some type of back to keep all the pieces and board together.

Great for active learners
We bought this for our then almost 2 year old and it’s been a big hit. Not only is it great for learning the alphabet but it’s also great for developing fine motor skills when figuring out how to fit each letter into place. Each letter is a fun vibrant color and perfect for toddler-sized hands to hold. We create games such as finding all the letters in each color, turning the letters upside down, learning their phonetic sounds. This is a great tool for active learners since it’s a tactile learning experience instead of simply looking at letters on paper. I will warn you though, you will constantly find letters between your couch cushions 🙂

Ok just the pieces are a little too thin.
Pieces were a little too thin which my kids didn’t like too much. Quality wasn’t bad just the size of the pieces were too thin. Colors were vibrant but would have been a little better if each piece was a different color.

This is perfect for letter learning! It’s not to big, the letters are great for little kiddos hands and under each letter, on the base, there’s a little arrow chart that shows them how to write it. Really good addition for toddler learning.

Attractive + good quality wooden letters
I am pleased with the quality of the wooden letters: not exceptional, but high enough. (See photo for a few “bumps” on the outside of a couple letters.) The letters fit nicely in the slots. The board is rather thin and probably would not last if it is dropped on a hard surface.Looking closely at the board, underneath the letters, I was surprised to find the directions for the ‘q’ to be: draw the line first, and then the curve. (See photo) I see this as a mistake.Some have mentioned their frustration with the form of the letter ‘a’, but this does not bother me, as I plan to have my son learn to read many forms.The three ‘red’ letters are a more orange-red. I would have preferred to have purple included as a color, and more variety in color, rather than variations in blues and greens. The colors are generally nice, though.I purchased this set simply for the wooden letters, not for the puzzle, as I was looking for a decent quality set of the lowercase alphabet for my 3 year old son to play with, along with his train and other toys (to become familiar with the forms of the letters in a more natural way).

I have a 10m & 2yr and they both like it lol. I love that many colors, the design of it reminds me of the ones when I was younger, and it’s a great price.
