Don’t Fall Off
The mittens work perfectly for my newborn. They are really lightweight and easy to put on. I’ve heard so many issues with mittens falling off and the elastic not staying, but these stay on my baby who is never still!

Perfect for baby whose fingernails are long! They fit perfectly from newborn to 6 months. While they are not too warm and on the thin side. I use them in between nail clips so my baby doesn’t scratch themselves. They are easy to put on. I did not notice any smell with them.

I bought these for a friend’s baby shower. They seem to be of good quality. I haven’t bought anything of Burt’s Bees that has let me down.

Too Big
These mittens are very nice, soft cotton, and very high quality, but the elastic is not tight enough for a newborn. They fell right off our son’s little hands, and he was nearly 9 lbs at birth! They feel like they’ll work better at about 6 months, but that kind of defeats the purpose of anti-scratch mittens. Just bring a nail file to the hospital and do the annoying thing of filing them every other day or so.
