Really Good Electric Car
I’ll start by saying that I really wanted to give this product five stars. It honestly came very close. My son absolutely loves his new car, and he can spend at least an hour outside every day driving around.I am really impressed by the battery life on this vehicle. We let him go out in the front yard and drive up and down the hill in the grass, which usually is a struggle for most electric cars. He was able to drive up and down the hill in the grass for at least 45 minutes before it sounded like the car was starting to reach the end of its battery life. Considering we had really put it to the test, I was super impressed!Another must have feature, which this truck does have, is the remote control for parents to override whatever their child is doing. It was really helpful for our son to be driven around for a little while, and he watched the steering wheel turn. Just gave him a much better idea of how to operate the truck.The Bluetooth radio is a cool idea, and it does work. I was a little disappointed that you could not adjust the volume other than with your phone, but not a huge deal. The digital horn is one of my son‘s favorite parts, and makes any lack of radio unnecessary anyway. LOLI really appreciate the design of the seatbelt. It’s more than your traditional car seatbelt, and it looks more like something you would see in a race car. That makes me feel a lot more comfortable about my son playing with this truck.The start up process sounds really cool. It basically plays a race car sound of a vehicle with a throaty engine firing up. My son really loves this feature, and he will stand there and turn it on and off so the car revs up. It’s funny to watch, and it keeps him very entertained.The one thing about this truck that I have a really hard time with are the door latches. I wish there was a way for the child to be able to open the doors from the outside of the truck. Currently, the only way that you can open and close the doors is if you reach inside the truck, and find the little red latch on the inside of the door. For a toddler, that’s a very difficult task. I wish my son could be more independent getting in and out of this vehicle, but the door latches don’t allow him to be just yet. this review includes a video of how the door latches operate, and how hard they can be to find.As far as assembly, it took about 45 minutes to an hour to put this together. Considering how much fun our son has with us, I do think all of the inconveniences like assembly time and door latches make it worth the purchase. Overall, I would recommend!
