Multipurpose wooden toy!
I love this brand. We have purchased other items from them and find the quality to be great. Happy to find something wood vs plastic. My child started using this at around 7 months – mostly picking up the blocks and tapping them on the base. Can use as puzzle or to stack. can be open ended and encompasses color, shape, and heights. My 3 yr old nephew also enjoys playing with this. Would be a great gift!

Wonderful Early Learning Toy!
I love shape sorter set! I bought it for my son’s first birthday and he thinks it’s great. It’s well made and sturdy. The blocks are very brightly colored and smooth. Not to huge and definitely not to small. They fit just right in my son’s hands. A very simple toy that can provide a great learning experience. Even my 2.5 year old who is far past this stage likes to play with this one.

Useful for Home Hand Therapy
This HAPE COLOR AND SHAPE SORTER is a high-quality, durable wooden toy that performs exactly as expected, helping with the development of fine motor skills.I purchased this set for my husband to use in occupational therapy, in conjunction with a Saebo glove, for the purpose of restoring some use to his stroke-damaged hand. It’s a good, inexpensive set for home-use purposes. It provides visual interest and variety, along with a genuine but attainable challenge.Hape also makes a “designing” set with very small pegs (HABA Color Peg, Color Pictures Game) that I hope my husband will be able to use eventually, as his hand improves. It is another very well-made wooden pegboard set.

Beautiful toy, very sturdy.
These are beautiful bright colored wooden shapes. I like the fact that the colors r natural because my baby likes to taste them every now and then. They are quite heavy and might hurt someone if thrown, and these days my baby is into throwing stuff around. So, that’s one thing that scares me a little. I have to be super careful and put the toy away if i see a tantrum coming.

Cute, durable shaper sorter with typical Hape quality
I’m a fan of Hape toys for their quality wood products and affordable durability. This puzzle has 9 variable sized pieces in different colors. All the pieces are good sized and baby friendly. The wood is smooth and finished and the paint holds up well. Unfortunately my kids haven’t been that interested in playing with this puzzle. I’ve put it away for rainy day fun and hope that the novelty will entice them to play with it.

We have the Hape All-in-one shape sorter but lost the blocks so I ordered, intending to use the block but not this toys as it is. My son, who is now 10 months old, has been playing with this toys for the last 3 months and LOVES it. We occasionally use the blocks from this with the other shape sorter, as I had originally planned, but mostly he plays with this toy as it is. He takes the blocks out and bangs them together and occasionally tries to put them back. I foresee this being a favorite for many months to come as his skills develop. High quality and a good price! The paint is not chipping and there are no dents in the wood, despite frequent use.

Amazing
I love this thing- it is so pretty and occupies my little one. He is 8 months and loves to play with the shapes and knock down little towers that I make. He can’t sort out the shapes into the holes yet, but he’ll get there. I love that there are no sharp edges too.The only complaint I have is that the square shapes are red, orange and yellow, while the triangle shapes are all green and the circles are all blue. Why didn’t Hape either make each shape a shade of the same color, or each size of each shape a different color? It’s annoying to say “the green triangles, the blue circles, and the various colored squares”. That said, it’s an awesome toy.

Die Kanten der Holzformen, sowie die Sortierplatte sind prima veratbeitet – sie haben sehr gut verarbeitete, leicht abgerundetete Kanten. Die Schwierigkeitsstufe ist individuell anpassbar – man kann nicht nur die passenden Formen suchen, sondern auch nach Farbe und Größe sortieren.

Got it for my 11 month old who uses the blocks as teether most of the times and likes to just hit the blocks on the board harder. Sometimes, she places the right shape in right hole. It is lightweight and the quality is good. Happy with the product.
