The room stays completely dark even in full daylight with these blackout curtains, which was my main concern.The fabric is of substantial weight without being too heavy, has a pretty linen weave. Nice neutral color (Taupe) perfectly complements the room.The back is a light beige material, feels very slightly rubbery but looks nice.I’m overall very pleased with them and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Here’s a polished, clear review that keeps your tone but flows a bit better:Love the color—not too bright or overwhelming. They’re thick and heavy enough to help keep out the chill on patio doors. They hang nicely once steamed, though plan on spending some time doing that. Totally worth it!I ordered another color because the quality is so good. Unfortunately, the “Natural” color didn’t match the photos and looked much more brown in person. I’m trying a different color and hoping it works out, because these curtains are exactly what I need.

Gorgeous but Stanky
Lovely curtains for those who love linen and want to add color to their space! They’re beautiful and textured and 100% blackout. They definitely keep the room cooler in the mornings when there is direct sunlight and I keep them closed. Great value for the price.However, they STUNK like chemicals or plastic upon arrival. I washed each panel separately twice (they did wash well and the wrinkles came out). I still had to air out the room daily for about 2 weeks until the smell finally dissipated.

Beautiful room darkening curtains. Great material. Steamed them to take out the wrinkles and ready to hang. They do not create complete darkness, but definitely make the room darker. Very happy with this purchase.

These curtains have a linen-like texture, this blue colour is reminiscent of light blue jeans (denim)… It totally suits our style as you can see in the pictures. We covered 6 windows in this place we recently moved to. I washed them first, using normal settings – cold temperature – medium spin settings. I dried them using gentle and low heat settings. Hung as soon as the dryer timer went off, and found these are so very easy to hang! The high-quality grommets are perfect for the brushed nickel curtain rods. First thing we noticed was the total light blocking that they provide even in the peek of daylight. Second thing I noticed was early in the morning when the temperatures were low, the new windows without the curtains gave off a slight chill if you held the back of your hand close to them… whereas those with curtains had no chill at all. A few days later on a very hot day (it’s spring, what can you do?) the windows with curtains totally blocked out the heat. We just moved to an adult only mobile home park – and while we haven’t yet needed this – we are happy to know the insulating properties of this product also dampen noise. Highly recommended.

These are beautiful curtain panels, thick and truly light blocking. You can’t just hang them up and expect them to be beautiful, they need to be steamed…but once you do they are wonderful.
