Great for wider plugs – keeps baby out!
I needed an outlet cover that could fit a wider plug and this one fit the bill. It’s sturdy and my baby can’t get inside/ now cannot pull the plug out from the wall. Mainly useful for her bedroom where I want to make sure things are super baby proofed. Easy to install and very helpful to keep curious hands away from the outlet

We bought a couple of these, they were easy to install, fits pretty well a normal electrical outlet.So far our youngest have not been able to open or tamper with it.Works great with straight cords, but with angled cords and chargers it is a tight fit

Had to modify faceplate
The box itself is fine, but the rectangular raised lip inside the box that is meant to frame the faceplate is too small for a standard leviton faceplate, so I had to trim the faceplate to fit inside. I then super-glued the trimmed faceplate to the box to keep the whole unit rigid and secure before attaching it to the outlet using the faceplate screws. If the area within that rectangular lip had been just a little larger it would have saved me a lot of trouble. However, now that it’s installed it seems very safe from curious little hands.

I use this to contain the unused portion of extension cord in our kid’s room. I’m happy with it. Was easy to set up: just unscrew the face plate of an outlet, set this on top, then fasten the face plate inside the box using the longer screw. Voila!

Great fit, works just like it should. Even though I don’t have squareed off outlets it still works and keeps the plugs safe from the kids (who like to unplug things). A little bulky but this allows room for larger plugs so I didn’t mind.

This works very well at preventing my developmentally disabled teenager from unplugging things and stops him accessing the outlets in an unsafe way. Would definitely recommend for caregivers of people with cognitive disabilities who may have safety issues with outlets. And of course for parents of young children.
