Love this! Very accurate. More accurate than the temporal they use at the hospital. Easy to use. Don’t have to even touch the child or fight to get a temp reading via the ear or underarm. Great price. Easy to read in the dark so you don’t have to turn the lamp on. Quality is great and comes with a good quality holder. I have had it for awhile and haven’t had to replace the battery yet.

Great Thermometer for Travel
If you’re traveling and you want an easy to use small thermometer, this is a great item. I’ve been carrying this one for traveling (in case I get sick). It’s about the size of my thumb and is easy to pack. I tested it against both a larger forehead thermometer and under the tongue thermometer, and it was accurate. It seems to be well-made – I’ve had it for about 3-4 months and so far so good. Unlike an old-fashioned thermometer that goes under the tongue, or the larger wand-type forehead thermometers, this one is really convenient for travel.

Such a convenient size for travel. Four stars because it’s not as accurate as the air thermometer but it’s better than trying to wait for the temperature to read on a screaming child when trying to take temperature in the mouth or under the armpit.

Unreliable readings for fever but great for travel!
I wanted a travel thermometer and this little thing is absolutely perfect for this! It is easy to use and is really small. I didn’t really have to use it until yesterday, but the readings for fever were very inconsistent. I measured my daughter’s forehead temperature and it was anywhere between 101F and 104.5F. I took like 20 measurements, and there really was no consistency. She definitely had a fever, but my hand would have sufficed for that. I really wanted to know how bad it was to decide if taking her to the doctor. This morning, she feels still warm to the touch, and the thermometer reads somewhere between 99F and 102F. So still a lot of inconsistencies in measurement unfortunately. I will keep using it for travel purposes, but will look for something more reliable for home use.

Palm sized forehead thermometer
I’ve been looking for a travel sized thermometer that is not a rectal thermometer to keep in our travel bags just in case for my toddler, and was so excited when I found this! This is perfect for travel, it fits in the palm of your hands and comes with a little travel case to keep it safe. It was very easy to use, you push one button to turn it on and then hold it up to the forehead and push a different button to take your temperature. Then it flashes a color based off the temperature and then will turn off on its own after a little bit. It does appear to have a button battery and is not rechargeable so you will just need to make sure to replace the batteries if if it has been a while before a trip.
