HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE: Using a soft, flexible tape measure, find the circumference around the widest part of your body where you plan to wear the binder. 20-30 in. Fits 20″-30″, 30-45 in, fits 30”- 45”, 45-60 in. fits 45”- 60”, 60-75 in. fits 60”- 75”, 75-90 in. fits 75”- 90”, and 90-105 in. fits 90”- 105”. Wear it on top or under your clothing.

Can’t do recovery without them!
Before my hernia repair surgery I ordered two of the 4 panel binders because I didn’t know what the hospital would give me and I needed latex free. I had no idea I would need one until a loved one told me to be sure they gave me one.I had surgery 5 days ago to repair a 2 inch hernia in the midline above my belly button. Surgery was done with robotic assist, so I have 3 incisions off to one side, the internal hole sewn up and 4.5 inch mesh sewn in.They put a different brand of 3 panel binder, just like these, on me in the OR. When I was allowed to shower the next day I put on this 4 panel binder. I find the 4 panel more comfortable. The top and bottom cover all of the area involved, and just feels more supportive than the 3 panel.Again, the 3 panel is a different brand that the hospital supplied, so please don’t compare the 3 panel comments in this review to the 3 panel of this brand here. The top and bottom edges of the 3 panel did not stay in place. I had to reposition them every time I got up. The top and bottom of the 4 panel stay exactly where I put them and do not ride around. For sizing, I first measured where 9 inches and then 12 inches would sit on my torso, and decided the 12 might be more comfortable. Then, since I’m a curvy female, I measured the widest area inside that 12 inch height. I ordered the size range that number was in. To put the binder on I first hook the bottom at that widest point, then pull the binder and attach the velcro as I work my way up. Where the top edge sits is narrower than where the bottom sits, so this allows me to get the velcro attached at an angle to give me equal support top to bottom. If hooking the velcro in a straight vertical line the top is too loose on my shape. This binder is so much more comfortable than the one the hospital put me in that I’m only using the 3 panel the day I wash both of these 4 panels. I wash in a zipper bag in the machine with cool water & then hang dry.Do not skip the binder for hernia surgery. The support helps with swelling and pain management.

Nice quality. Comfortable as far as a binder goes. Provides lots of support and the right amount of compression when you get it tight enough. I only wish it came in more sizes, so that there wasn’t as much overlapping.

I’m 5’5 approximately 145 lbs. I should have purchased the one with 3 panels, not 4 but it still does the job. I’ll give it to my husband when I’m done with it. The Velcro has superhuman grip!

is exactly what I need for after surgery support. low price, works well. is breathable, which helps with comfort. I selected the 4 panel to get more complete abb coverage, then select the length based on waist size. Comes with a strip over the velco, which I am not throwing away, but keeping for putting in wash.

Depends on whether you need it short term or long term.
It really depends on your needs. This will work ok for a temporary condition. If you need it for an ongoing condition, then the hook and eye fasteners will hold up better. Every time you use this, the extra strong velcro tears up the fabric a little more. It’s very important to cover the velcro before you wash it–it sticks to everything. The advantage of this one is that it came in a 9″ size which is great if you are short waisted. The hook and eye or zipper products seem to mostly come in 11″ which is very uncomfortable. Also, I thought the sizing did not make sense. I wear a size 8 pants. I got the small which overlaps about 8 or 10″ and it’s hard to get it tight enough. Also, I wish I had purchased the cheaper product. There’s really not much to this thing.

Excellent Support and Comfort!
This abdominal binder provides great compression and stays in place all day. The material is sturdy yet breathable, and the 12″ width gives full coverage without rolling. I used it after surgery, and it really helped with recovery and posture. Definitely worth the price.

Excellent support post-surgery
Love this binder. I had abdominal surgery and was given the 4 paneled version of this binder at the hospital. After 6 weeks of using that one, I bought this 3 paneled one for more flexibility and to target the lower abdomen. I wear it under my clothes whenever I feel the need for support – usually when walking, lifting, and traveling in the car and going out. I love how you can adjust it to fit at exactly the pressure you want with the velcro strap. My only criticism is that the velcro frays the surface where it attaches and the grip becomes less secure over time. It holds up well for about 10 weeks of daily use. Got one more my mother post hysterectomy and she loves it to.

Needed a binder post op neuro stimulator battery change with incisions on both hips and massive swelling must say this binder has helped a little with the pressure from incisionsThe size is perfect i got the 2 strips and perfect to cover sites plus extra for swelling above and belowIt definitely is breathable and have no sweating underneath or discomfortProvides good support so movement is much better than without itThe quality is why only 4 stars bec noticed the velcro is already causing binder to look frayed but does hold tight

Always a fan of Nyortho as used it once before for post-surgery recovery, bought on Amazon as unable to find it in Singapore, glad that I bought it as it was perfect. Will buy more if Amazon can bring back the sale!

Used this for after surgery. It held up the tummy to give air under the fold. It’s adjustable, so great for swelling and changing sizes. Doesn’t fold over when you bend. Washes great too!
