    Worth it
I bought this Strike Game for my 3-year-old, and it has been an absolute hit in our house! The bright colors, cheerful music, and fun lights instantly grab attention. It’s a perfect blend of entertainment and education — my little one doesn’t even realize how much they’re learning while playing. What I love most is how it helps with hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, and rhythm recognition in such an engaging way. It’s durable, easy to use, and even fun for adults to join in for a few rounds!

Fun, engaging, and surprisingly educational — with just a few minor quirks
I recently got the Octopus Vitality Strike Game for my 3-year-old, and it’s been a hit in our house. The concept is simple but effective: whack the octopus tentacles when they light up, and try to beat your score. My child laughs every time a tentacle pops up, and we’ve turned it into a fun bonding game. The two game modes (speed and timed) keep things fresh, and the digital score display adds a healthy sense of competition. One thing I appreciate is how the game encourages hand-eye coordination and reaction speed. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in how quickly my child can tap targets and predict movement. The buttons are responsive, and the sound cues (not too loud, thankfully) guide the play rhythm naturally. The multicolored lights are bright and engaging without being overwhelming. However, there are a few drawbacks worth noting. First, the power source requires decent batteries, and after a solid play session the lights dim somewhat. I wish it had a more energy-efficient standby mode. Also, the tentacle pop speed can get frustratingly fast for very young kids — sometimes they’re not quite ready for the next level’s pace. We had to start them on the slower mode so they wouldn’t get discouraged.Another minor issue is stability: the base is a little lightweight, so rapid tapping sometimes causes the toy to shift on smooth surfaces. Placing a towel or mat underneath helps, but it’s something to be aware of. Also, while the game is fun, over time the repetition does start to feel a little repetitive, so I’d mix it with other toys rather than expecting it to be a day-long entertainer.Overall, I’d give the Octopus Vitality Strike Game 4 out of 5 stars. It’s an energetic, educational toy that encourages reflexes, focus, and interactive play. If your child is in the right age range and you manage the power and placement, it’s a very worthwhile addition to your playroom.

    Fun time game
This is a great game for toddlers, for children, they play it with small hands, it is very great, it keeps children engaged for a long time and it doesn’t get any faster than this, it keeps children busy, it is easy to use, it has lighting and music, it is very good octopus vitality strike game more then other play time fun.

  4. Tyra Goering

Cute and easy, but it sounds cursed.
Cute design and easy enough for my 3 year old to play. She loves the music, but I really dislike the AI vocal recordings. The English is broken and it says things like “don’t hit me” which makes no sense for a wack a mole style game. It honestly sounds cursed and discouraging. Everything else is fine and my kiddo does like to play with it. It definitely not one of her favorite toys and I think it’s because of the poor vocal recordings.

    A Must-Have for Toddlers!
The Octopus Game Toy has been a lot of fun for our two-year old granddaughter! She absolutely loves the easier modes, which keep her engaged while subtly boosting her musical skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive development. I can see her advancing to the more difficult modes as she gets older so it’s a great toy that grows with the child. The upgraded design is a standout feature. The glowing octopus lights up with soft, non-dazzling colors that captivate kids without overwhelming them. The two-player mode is a brilliant touch—it’s become a bonding activity for us, and I love how it encourages gentle tapping to build hand strength. Plus, the adjustable volume and auto-sleep function make it super parent-friendly.Safety-wise, this toy checks all the boxes. Made from BPA-free ABS plastic with smooth edges, it’s clearly built with toddlers in mind. I feel confident letting my grandchild play with it independently.Whether you’re shopping for a birthday, holiday, or just a surprise gift, this toy is a winner. It’s educational, entertaining, and durable—everything you want in a toy for ages 3–4. Highly recommended!

    Fun for kids and parents
Fun for kids and me, I enjoy it. It’s a great educational toy, but also fun. It’s not to small is perfect for play at home and challenge the kids and the old ones.

  7. JJSB

Fun and easy game for kids
Fun toy and feels like a carnival game at home

  8. Kelly

    Fun for all ages
This octopus game is actually really fun and super easy to pick up. My toddler and even my husband had a blast playing together right after we got it. It works for all ages, and it’s a nice little stress reliever for adults too. One handy feature is the suction cups on the back. You can stick it to a table or even attach it to a busy board, which keeps it from sliding around. The buttons are mostly responsive, but every now and then they get a little stuck. The scoring and life system aren’t super clear. It counts when you press the right spot several times, so I wish it just gave a point every time you hit correctly. It has a two-player mode, but there’s only one little hammer. You can use your hands, but if it’s meant for two players, why not include two hammers? The volume has two levels, which is nice, but there’s no mute, so playing quietly at night isn’t really an option. Batteries are required, which is a little inconvenient.Overall, it’s a fun, busy little toy that keeps kids engaged, and the extra features make it worth a try despite the small annoyances
