This belt has been such a great help in my postpartum recovery. The Velcro is strong yet easy to adjust, so I can get the perfect fit every time. It stays in place, even when I’m moving around, and the thickness is just right, comfortable to wear all day while still giving me the support I need. Very comfortable! Flexible, but just enough rigidity!
I love this abdominal binder. I have a 3-piece set, but I wanted to try this one piece so I could have options. I bought this for recovery after a hysterectomy and it is so comfortable. The fit is great and very forgiving so I can easily adjust as I swell, and the material is top notch. The support is wonderful offering rigidity with also allowing for flexibility as you move through your day. I can even sleep with it with no problems as it stays in place. It is also easy to take off if I decide in the middle of the night that I no longer want to wear it. It has great compression that can be tightened or loosened because of the large Velcro areas, and it is also very breathable which is important to not add to the hysteria of my hot flashes. I would definitely buy again.

Very supportive and good quality, but maybe not good for tender areas.
The quality is great, the Velcro closure is very secure. It’s very easy to put on and take off. I have very sensitive skin and a latex allergy and this doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I also live in a very warm climate and this isn’t hot. I do feel supported wearing it, and my back feels good. However, I have diastasis recti and that part of my abdomen is sensitive to pressure, and this is uncomfortable in that area. I wouldn’t say it’s that it’s too tight, it’s that it isn’t flexible enough with movement, mainly with the second belt part over it. I did order it according to the size chart. It’s great for support, but if you have a part of your abdomen that is tender with pressure, maybe skip on this and find a basic spandex-style. I am going to keep it and cut the second, top-layer band off.

Great abdominal binder, just wish it came in a smaller size.
This is the second abdominal binder I’ve bought from Gepoetry, the first being their 3-in-1 Postpartum Recovery Support Belt set. I got that set for hysterectomy recovery, and have posted a review for it as well for anyone interested.This binder is the same amazing quality as the first, and the one piece design is going to be great for further into my recovery, and as an everyday compression piece. It’s has a very comfortable fit, so it can be worn all day without feeling the need to remove it. I do recommend wearing a tank or cami under the binder to reduce any rubbing on the skin, along with protecting the binder from any sweat or oils on your skin.On top of my recent hysterectomy, I deal with chronic pain issues as well as EDS and POTS, so compression is a huge part of my daily routine to minimize pain and chronic illnesses symptoms.The only downside to this particular binder, for me, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5; is that it was not available in a size small. This obviously won’t be an issue for everyone, but for the more petite customers, just be aware.I ordered the medium and can make it work, although the first main set of velcro attaches at the very edge, so I can’t get quite as much compression as I’d prefer. But since there is a second layer of velcro for extra support I’m not worried about the binder losing it’s grip and opening up.As reference for anyone looking for sizing help beyond the size chart in the listing, I’m 5’9″, ~120lbs, and my waist is typically 24″, although I am still dealing with some post surgery swelling/bloating, which is setting my waist at about 25″ in the morning, and closer to 25.5″/26″ by the end of the day. I’m 15 days post op as of writing this review(April 1st).If this binder ever comes out in a size small, I will definitely be purchasing another in the smaller size, but will also be keeping the medium since I can make it work, and might be able to add extra velcro to increase compression levels.Overall this a great abdominal binder that could help a variety of issues needing compression beyond postpartum/post surgery recovery, and the price can’t be beat for the quality of the product.

Fantastic binder!!
This is my favorite belly band yet! The material is durable, with nice quality, and soft texture. It’s so easy to put on, with the Velcro having excellent hold, and adjustability. It holds my abdomen in comfortably, while giving me tons of support. It allows good air circulation on my body, not hot or sticky. Give this one a try, it’s priced great too!

i love this binder! i have chronic illnesses and need abdominal compression daily. i wear this everyday. it’s thick but not too heavy. it fits tight but not too tight. and very stable and comfortable. it’s extremely effective. it’s easy to put on and take off.
