Does not come off, best basic great quality mittens
The elastic around the wrist helps the glove stay on. Bought these for my newborn and used them in the hospital because she was scratching her face and hospital does not offer mittens. I love the quality and how they stay on! It’s your best basic mittens, no frills. Exactly what I wanted, thank you! I can imagine that these would work for older babies, it’s roomy.

My kids are 9yrs apart, so I felt like a first time mom unsure and buying everything for my newest baby. I had gotten cute mittens from Carter’s, Target, Gerber etc. Even the ones here on Amazon that Velcro around the wrist. Well, while looking for more options.. I came across these. Reviews looked great, sizing looked way off but what the heck. Price was great for the amount of pairs, so why not.Let me tell you this, just buy them.My newborn is 3 weeks old, and these have been a lifesaver for her little face not getting scratched up.I’ve used these from day one, they don’t fall off, they’re not too tight, and they are the perfect size to allow her fingers to move around. All the other “cute” mittens sit in the dresser because I’ve tried them cause they match with other outfits, and they fall off and her fingers are stuck in a fist position if I attempt to put them on her. Yea, no thank you.I’ll stick to these plain white holly grail mittens!These are my go-to everyday & night.Also, they have held up just fine in the washer and dryer! Mama, just buy them!!

I love these little mittens! They kept the baby from constantly scratching herself. They are comfortable and soft and the elastic wasn’t too tight on her tiny little wrist. They did slip off sometimes but that is expected and unavoidable. At less than $1.50 per pair, it’s worth getting a bundle because they get lost so easily. Safety pin them together before throwing them in the wash or they’ll get lost.
