These YoungsTex Blackout Curtains (63” length, thermal insulated with grommets) completely exceeded my expectations. They’re heavy-duty but still supple and flowy, not stiff or canvas-like as some blackout curtains can be. The material drapes beautifully and gives the room a soft, elegant look.They truly live up to the “blackout” description — they block out nearly all light, making them perfect for bedrooms or any space where you want real darkness and privacy. The construction and stitching are excellent, and the metal grommets are substantial and high-quality, not the cheap-looking kind you often see on budget curtains.They also help insulate the room, keeping it cooler during the day and warmer at night, and they hang smoothly right out of the package with minimal wrinkles.Overall, these curtains are fantastic quality, stylish, and highly functional — definitely one of the best blackout curtain sets I’ve purchased. Beautiful quality product
Beautiful, high quality stiching and brillant rich color. Also wrinkle free once hung for a few hours. Blocks out the sun and helps to keep the cold out! I have not washed yet, however my chioce for curtains vs blinds is the ability to wash.

NOT BLACKOUT curtains
While I can’t speak for the thermal aspect, these are listed as “YoungsTex BLACKOUT [capitalized here for emphasis] Curtains for Bedroom 63 Inches Long – Insulated Room Darkening Window Drapes with Grommet for Living Room Kids Energy Saving Thermal Curtain,” and are NOT BLACKOUT.The color looks as described, they’re soft, and feel like they’re quality made. HOWEVER, I wanted thermal BLACKOUT curtains to keep light and heat out of my kids’ west-facing bedrooms, and this did NOT do that.If you refer to the side-by-side photos showing light on vs off, you can easily see that while the room did get darker, these are clearly NOT BLACKOUT curtains. I also took a phone flashlight to the curtain, and the light very clearly shone through.At the time if this review, the item was listed at $12.79 for the TWO panel pack. If you’re looking for JUST ROOM DARKENING, NOT BLACKOUT curtains, these are GREAT bang for the buck. However, due to the MISLEADING item description, I am deducting one star on my review.

These aren’t as blackout as the nice picture in the demo show. As for the layers , nope can’t see them either ,seems to be just 1 piece of material,and stitching quite crimped around edges. But weirdly they are soft and do seem to be thermal,so at least they keep the heat in a bit .I won’t be buying again, would rather make sure I’m getting the real mcCoy in person.
