Freezing cold!
These are chemical reacting ice pads they last there expecting amount of one as well. I prefer these to the freeze pads because they are quick and instant and can still be dressed with all the same toppings. Just colder longer in my opinion.

These were my favorite postpartum cold pack. They seemed to get the coldest and stay cold the longest!

Nice Short Term Relief Option
These ice packs are super helpful after giving birth. I had multiple 3rd degree tears and have been in a lot of pain, these ice packs give me a little bit of time where there is some relief with the added benefit of the cold helping with the swelling. They are much easier to pop than the ones the hospital had provided me, though they don’t seem to get quite as cold. They are large and bulky, which makes them very awkward to wear because its hard to walk and sit in them, but they do absorb a decent amount of fluid and keeps it pretty contained. The downside is that they don’t stay cold very long and after the cold has worn off, you are left with a large warm bag of water in your pants…which is strange and uncomfortable. When you get them it seems like a lot, but I went through my entire box in about three days because I put on a new one every couple hours, day and night. They are also very convinent because you just pop the balloon inside and shake and the reaction inside makes it cold, meaning you can keep them in the bathroom and don’t have to run to the freezer to retrieve them. I would recommend this product to anyone who is concerned with the pain they will be dealing with after birth and will definently order them again if I ever have another baby. I might just order two boxes this time instead of the one so they will last a little longer.

Lifesaver for postpartum recovery!
First time mom here. Nobody really prepares you for the week AFTER the miracle of childbirth. These were a lifesaver! The following part of the review may be “too much information” for some, but it is pertinent to my experience. My hospital handed out great supplies in terms of large absorbent pads and ice packs, but unfortunately they didn’t send me home with enough ice packs to get me through my full recovery. Enter this product. What a lifesaver. I used these full time for a good week and a half after childbirth, and then as needed for another week or so. Hopefully baby #2 has a smoother delivery (and gives me an easier recovery) whenever he/she decides to come along, but if needed, I will gladly order these again!!!Note– these do get very cold, so be careful to have a thin barrier of something between it and your skin, or you might risk freezing the skin. I used these with post-delivery mesh panties, which worked perfectly to hold them in place.

Essential for Post-Partum Recovery! MUST HAVE!
I can’t stress enough how crucial this product has been for post-partum recovery, especially for my wife. It proved to be exceptionally helpful and is even the same brand provided by the hospital. The only thing to keep in mind is that it takes a couple of days to be delivered, so I strongly recommend having it on hand well before your delivery date to ensure a smooth transition into post-partum care.We tried searching for this specific brand at local stores like Kroger, CVS, and RiteAid but had no luck finding it anywhere. Thankfully, Amazon came to the rescue. It’s an essential item for post-partum care, and we’re extremely grateful for the convenience it offers.

Long lasting relief, worth the money
I don’t know that I’ve ever written a review for something I’ve bought on Amazon, but I’m post partum and inspired. These ice packs are the way to go, they last 3-4x the length that any of the other ones I’ve tried have. You can definitely tell that they are medical grade. At first I hesitated because they were more expensive, but they are absolutely worth it. I have multiple tears, and am so grateful for the relief.
