Great for skin to skin and nursing
I got this for the hospital but ended up wearing it all the time postpartum. I sized up and it’s perfect for skin to skin and wrapping around your little one. I originally ordered in the light grey and it got a hole after the first wash so I returned it but this one has held up well!

    very comfy, great for breastfeeding
love, love, love this robe! I purchased to have for labor & deliver as well as post-partum! it has served me very well! the only complaint I have is the part that makes up the sash has stretched out so it doesn’t stayed tied for very long! but overall, a great product!

    Best Robe for Pregnancy/Postpartum
This robe has been perfect for my changing body. The fabric is high quality, very stretchy and flattering. It’s warm and cozy while also looking very cute. I got a size medium/large and I am 5’6 and about 160 postpartum. The fit is exactly what I was looking for. Nursing is also a breeze in this. My favorite part of the robe is that the rope tie is attached at the waist so it’s impossible to lose!

    Absolutely a MUST!!
I am OBSESSED with this robe!! If I could give it 100 hundred stars I would! It is so soft and comfy!!! Sometimes that waffle material can be stiff but not this robe. I am 5’7″ and the robe comes down to my ankles which I love. I wanted a robe that would be long and this is the one! I have had no issues with washing. I put it in the dryer accidentally and I was worried it would shrink but it did not shrink one bit! I think it actually got softer. What I love so much about this robe is that it keeps me warm but it’s not overly heavy. The sleeves are nice and long but not sloppy. It has pockets and the tie is attached. Love that! I ordered mine in gray and it is a nice dark gray color. No bleeding in the wash which is great and it hasn’t faded. I am so beyond happy with this robe!!!!

  6. Customer Review

Really well made; organic cotton, nice stitching. Lighter weight, comfortable and attractive.
This is a review for monica + andy Women’s Organic Waffle Lounge Robe*My lightning is all over the place, the robe looks gray in most my pics but I ordered the navy blue and it is a dark navy color.*This is a good quality robe. It’s advertised as a maternity robe but there’s nothing specifically maternity about it, expect maybe the belt being placed a little higher than your true waist. It isn’t any bigger than any other house robe I’ve owned. If you like this robe and you’re not pregnant, it will still fit fine. What’s really nice about this robe is it’s 95% organic cotton and 5% spandex. The manufacturer has a Global Organic Textile Standard certification (GOTS) that says their textiles are verified organic cotton. The certificate also says the process, along the supply chain of materials as well as the manufacturing process of the garment, are safer for the environment and employees by avoiding harmful components– such as flame retardant treatments, heavy metals including lead, formaldehyde and phthalates (among other toxic additives.)The robe will be ankle or mid calf length for a majority of women, I’m 5 foot and it just brushes the tops of my feet. The lapel is smaller, not too thick. There are lined pockets at your hips, that are a generous size. There’s a sturdy loop to hang the robe located near the tag. I like that the sleeves are conservative and tailored to your arms, they aren’t big bell shaped sleeves that are too big to pull up if you’re going to wash a few dishes from breakfast or whatnot. Also the belt is sewn onto the back of the robe. This is a nice feature because you won’t have to worry about the belt sliding out of the loops or losing it all together in the wash. The belt is sewn a little higher up and it’s fixed, not adjustable. This is likely a nod to the pregnant ladies so they can tie the belt above their belly. I wear my belt up high anyways because my chest is large and if I don’t then the robe falls open. If I just have a nightgown on underneath and I’m walking around the house then I want to be covered up top as well. So this really more personal preference but worth noting for others that may prefer the belt cinched at their waist. The robe is done in a small waffle pattern so the fabric is thinner and just slightly rough. That’s pretty typical for cotton done in a waffle weave. It’s an alternative to the softer terry loops and does have a slightly more abrasive feel than the plush texture of terry. Cotton in general can sometimes feel rough too, it really depends on the length of fibers used, the thread count, how it’s woven and what the fibers are treated with during the manufacturing process. I would say the slightly rough feel with this weave is very minor though and cotton will soften over time too, as you wash and wear it. Again, this is more personal preference but I prefer waffle texture and find it more comfortable so I knew what to expect when I ordered. I’d suggest, if you want a plush type of robe, you’d be better off looking at a cotton terry style or at fabric blends that favor a high percentage synthetic fibers. The upside to waffle that I appreciate is it’s much lighter weight compared to terry and it dries much quicker. So it’s comfortable to wear without being as thick (hot) nor as bulky, plus it washes up more easily with a much shorter drying time.I do recommend this robe, I like it a lot. It’s comfortable and well made, all the stitching is done well and looks very sturdy. The only slight complaint I have is that it just arrives in a generic plastic bag. I feel like robes in general, but especially robes designed with pregnant ladies in mind, are pretty high on the gift giving list. I think the presentation could be nicer in general but especially for people that plan to gift the robe to someone. Using a simple box or even just a better quality wrap would feel more hygienic, and it would look much nicer too.The price when I ordered was $65 and I feel like that’s really fair. It’s a quality garment that’s well made and sourced from specially processed organic materials that are safer for you and the environment, it’s also comfortable and attractive too. Recommended!

    Soft and Spacious but Overpriced
I love the feel and quality of this waffle lounge robe and the fabric is soft, breathable, and very comfortable. It offers plenty of room, which would make it a great option for pregnant women or anyone wanting a relaxed fit. That said, I feel the price is MUCH higher than the quality justifies. While cozy and well-made, it doesn’t quite match the value for the cost.

    Love my robe
I absolutely love my Monica + Andy Organic Waffle Lounge Robe — it’s become my go-to for winding down or just feeling cozy at home. The waffle texture is soft but has enough structure so I don’t feel like I’m wrapped in a blanket. The shawl collar and side pockets add little touches of comfort and convenience that I didn’t know I needed. If I had to nitpick: it’s not super thick, so on chilly mornings I might still need a throw or extra layer. But overall it hits the sweet spot between “relaxing lounge piece” and “feels a bit elevated” for everyday wear.

My wife really loved wearing this robe during her pregnancy and she continues to wear it post partum. The fabric is a waffle weave and shade of grey is nice.
